This waterway travels west under I-10 overpass to Work Canal “Cow Bayou” and Bayou Des Glaise. It also provides remote access into the interior of the Atchafalaya Basin leading to Upper Grand River. It is one of the most prime spots for fishing, observing wildlife and paddling in the Parish. Located at the Ramah Exit off Interstate 10, from the Frontage Road take the bridge across the canal and follow the gravel road across the levee. This is a lazy, quiet waterway without heavy boat traffic. It is most ideal for small to medium sized boats and paddlers, with ample space for parking.
