Bayou Sorrell will take you deep into the Atchafalaya Basin, surrounded by picturesque swamps and a variety of wildlife for the avid bird watcher ––  it’s also ideal for paddlers. Some of the best spillway crawfish can also be found here. From Highway 75 turn left on Bayou Sorrell Road and follow it till you reach the first gravel road crossing the levee on the right. This landing features a 5-lane boat launch with stationary piers, making it easily accessible for most boat sizes and paddlers.
