Sunnyside Historic Home

Sunnyside is a lovely two-story raised cottage located on the east bank of Bayou Grosse Tete between Rosedale and Grosse Tete. The mansion was built in 1895 by Captain Jesse Hart and sits in a grove of live oak trees. *The house is privately owned, and is not open to the public. It can be viewed from the road.
