Details

This waterway formerly known as “Lower Bayou Maringouin” of the Terrebonne Basin, runs adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin levee and Highway 3000. It is one of the most prime spots for fishing, observing wildlife and paddling in the Parish. Located at the Ramah Exit off Interstate 10, directly under the overpass, it’s closeness to the roadway offers safety in the event of a boating emergency. This is a lazy, quiet waterway without heavy boat traffic. It is most ideal for small to medium sized boats and paddlers, with limited parking.
